Good Morning

I woke up on my glorious “No Work Monday” today and had the most glorious sunrise ever to wake up to. Which was odd, because I distinctly remember it storming all night. Yeah, well, the sunlight was short-lived because it’s been raining ever since. Sad day. So, I’ve set up camp in the kitchen and am working on my homework at the world’s slowest pace.

By “working on my homework,” I do of course mean something else. I am in fact looking up vacation destinations! I’ve decided I’m going to go very far away from Nantes. Strange, I know. But, why not? I think for the first vacation, I’m going to head towards Prague for four days. Nothing like a little bit of a Slavic language to make you miss the romantic languages. And the trip is going to be surprisingly cheap. Go me! For the second, I would really like to go to Venice, but I haven’t found anyone else to go. They’ve “already been there.” I’ve heard the same thing about London and Brussels and Barcelona. What a terrible burden to bear: having been to so many places ONE TIME.

Well, obviously I’m not getting anything done on this rainy day except wishing I could be away from this rainy, depressing city.  But, alas, I am summoned by the thralls of grammar and must answer the call.
